Low Glycemic Breakfast Burrito

When you think of burritos you don't usually think of light, low glycemic AND yummy...but this one is!

This is the perfect breakfast or lunch for your low glycemic plan. It's easy to make with this super, simple recipe. The printable version is available at the bottom of the page.

As all of the low glycemic recipes on my website it won't raise your blood sugar but will give you good energy for a few hours. If you decide to add a little cheese you'll get a bit of saturated fat which is fine but it has mostly plant fats with omega 3 fatty acids, protein and some plant carbs - the best kind!

It's so important to eat well when you want to be thin for life. All of my recipes include lots of rich, good fats that fill you up and increase your metabolism. Once you have this basic light, breakfast burrito recipe down there are endless variations!
