Visitor Question:
What if my food for a day has been all low carb, but then I have a forbidden slice of pizza or few cookies; does that negate the whole day?
Lifetime Fat Loss Answers:
Nothing can negate the whole day! However, here's the strategy for when you have indulged in high glycemic carbs. This is the way to prevent the fat storage. Your next few meals need to be super nutritious and super light. In fact, if you eat lightly enough the next day those carbs won't count! When you are hungry between meals and snacks eat fresh fruits and vegetables.
Have a smoothie for breakfast and whole grain toast. Have a salad for lunch and a low glycemic snack in the afternoon. Take your walk or whatever you do for movement. For dinner you are going to juice vegetables! You are also going to be sure to do that serious aerobic exercise during the afternoon. If you are in the habit of walking, biking, running, swimming every single day you're not going to be set back at all as long as you get back on your normal low glycemic plan.
What counts is what you do most of the time! We all indulge in the goodies occasionally. If you're exercising regularly and mostly eating clean you just get "right back on the horse" so to speak. Don't fall into the mental trap of thinking you've blown it so you may as well just keep going on the carbohydrate dense, high glycemic foods. That's an easy sabotage to fall into. You're good! Just do a little fall back fasting and the fat will not store.
