Lacy Parmesan Cheese Crisps
Although this recipe is available on many sites on the web, I got mine from fitnessandfreebies.com. This recipe has become a family staple at our house. They are very satisfying in flavor and so, so quick and simple to make.
6 oz. parmesan cheese, coarsely grated (1 1/2 Cups)
Note: Get the freshly grated kind in the shredded cheese section or shred your own. Don't use the kind that's in a jar and you shake.
Preheat the oven to 375°. Line large cookie sheet with reusable nonstick bakeware liner or non-stick foil.
Drop level tbsp of cheese 3" apart onto cookie sheet, spread slightly to form 2" rounds.
Bake at 375° just until edges begin to turn golden, 4-5 minutes. When cheese stops bubbling, use spatula and transfer to wire rack to cool. Then transfer to paper towels to drain. Repeat and enjoy! 22 calories each
