Nancy, I'm with Jan; don't give up! This works. If you eat the way this website states, you will eventually get the weight off. Since the end of April, my husband and I have lost weight the low glycemic way. One of the biggest things we have accepted is, it's not about dieting to lose weight, it's about changing the way we eat. It's not a weight loss diet as much as a healthier way of eating which will reap the benefit of weight coming off. This is not a diet just to lose weight, although that will happen. It's a diet to live by the rest of your life.

I had reached a plateau about 3 weeks ago and nothing could make me get below it; however, I continued on, eating the low glycemic way. Then, this past week, my body caught up with me and I dropped 3 pounds in 2 days. I thought it was a fluke, but I've continued for several days now at the new weight. What an encouragement for me!

Also, read Jan's article about cinnamon (Cinnamon and Weight Loss). I drank 1/4 tsp cinnamon in a glass of 1/4 cup unsweetened apple juice with 1/4 cup of water, twice a day for about 4 days. I believe that's what actually triggered breaking my plateau. So, good luck to you and don't give up!
