1 C. Fat Free Greek Yogurt
1 C. frozen Blueberries or Strawberries
1 C. mixed Greens-kale, spinach
2 TBS. Flax Seed (Omega 3's)
1/4-1/2 C. almond or coconut milk-unsweetened
Add greens and "milk" to blender, then add fruit and yogurt and blend until "smoothie" consistency.
This makes for a great breakfast and the protein in the flax seed and yogurt keeps my hunger satisfied for hours.
1 1/2 servings.
*LFL note: Grind the flaxseeds (or get flaxseed meal) to get all the nutrient benefit or use flaxseed oil.
